Marina Ostroukhova, MD PhD
A Board Certified Allergist who specializes in allergy, asthma and immunology. Practicing Allergy and Immunology since 2010. She received her MD, PhD from Moscow State University. She did postdoctoral research in the field of molecular biology and immunology at Yale University and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center studying molecular mechanism of immune tolerance. Her work was published in several very respected scientific journals. Dr. Ostroukhova always had a passion to help her patients. She returned to clinical practice and completed residency in Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY and Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center. She was practicing Allergy and Immunology at private practice at Vail, Colorado prior coming to Hawaii. She is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is active in national and local allergy and asthma societies. Her recent scientific interests include integrative Approches to allergies and asthma, exercise induced asthma, urticaria, and anaphylaxis with "novel" therapeutic modalities.
